Call for Applications – Czech–Luxembourg Design & Business Forum 2026
Product designers established in Luxembourg are invited to apply to take part in the exhibition organised as part of the Czech–Luxembourg Design & Business Forum 2026, which will be held on Thursday, 22 October 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Luxembourg Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts.
Initiated by the Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts and the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Luxembourg, in partnership with CzechTrade, Luxinnovation, Design Luxembourg and the 1535° Creative Hub, the event aims to showcase the Luxembourgish and Czech ecosystems in the fields of design, technology and manufacturing, while strengthening their mutual visibility and fostering exchanges between the two countries.
Two Exhibition Formats
The Forum will be accompanied by two exhibitions bringing together creations from Luxembourg and the Czech Republic. Selected Luxembourg-based companies will be able to present their work free of charge in one of the following formats, or apply for both.
“Product Design” Exhibition
Hosted at the Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts, this exhibition will bring together 14 Luxembourg-based companies and 14 Czech companies around a selection of design objects.
“Product Design in Photographic Format” Exhibition
This outdoor exhibition will be displayed on panels along the railings of the Embassy of the Czech Republic, near the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg. It will showcase the selected creations through photographs provided by the participating companies.
Ten places are available for Luxembourg-based companies, alongside ten Czech companies.
Who Can Apply?
The call is open to professional product designers legally established in Luxembourg.
Product design refers to objects and products developed as part of a functional, aesthetic or experimental design approach and intended for domestic, public or professional use.
Eligible submissions may include furniture, lighting, accessories, everyday objects, digital products, as well as prototypes or limited editions exploring new materials, forms or uses.
Purely decorative objects and works of art are not eligible.
How to Apply
Interested companies are invited to submit their application via the dedicated application form by Friday, 24 July 2026 at the latest.
Participating Luxembourg-based companies will be selected by the Chamber of Skilled Trades and Crafts in consultation with the event’s national partners and subject to the number of places available.
Successful applicants will be informed by email in mid-August and will receive all relevant logistical information concerning their participation.
