Emilie Franco

Emilie is an independent hair and makeup artist working primarily in film, as well as in theatre, opera, and commercial productions. Her work centres on character development and the visual language of a role. 

Hairstyling, makeup, and wig making are approached as interconnected elements that support the narrative and the performer. In close collaboration with directors, costume designers, and actors, she develops looks that respond to script, period, and production context. 

This includes the design and creation of custom-made wigs and hairpieces when required, as well as styling and on-set supervision. Each decision is guided by proportion, authenticity, and practicality for stage or camera.
